Spotify makes it easy to get music recommendations from friends without really asking for it, thanks to a new feature called Friends Mix. This is a new playlist created by Spotify algorithms that will be filled by songs based on the habit of listening to your friends who are also connected to the streaming platform. The aim is to make a list of tracks that continue to be refreshing based on shared interest in music.
A mixture of a friend’s playlist will appear in Hub Made For You, right next to the Blend button. The position of these two features next to each other is not a coincidence, because you need to make a mixture before the Play the Friends Mix appear for you. Spotify says you need to make at least three mixtures before you can access the Friends Mix collection.
If you have never used a mixture before, this is a feature that allows two users to make a playlist together. Blends update every day based on the pattern of listening to the participants, and is available for free platform users and pay. Interestingly, Spotify’s press release notes that the Friends Mix feature is only available for iOS and desktop, but there is no word when it will appear for the Android application.
How to get a mixture of your own friends in Spotify?
You need to make at least three mixtures before the Mix Friends playlist drove to your music center at Spotify. Here’s the way you do it:

2, Enter “Blend” in the search field at the top.

Just like a mixture, Spotify said the list of friends of Friends Mix will also be updated every day, ensuring that you continue to find fresh music based on the pattern of listening to dynamic music from your friend’s circle. And like Blend, you don’t need a premium subscription to get a friend of the Friends Mix play because it is available for all Spotify users.
